Inactive events showing up in Portal Event Selector.
Solution
Inactive events show up in the Portal event selector because there is an option in the Event when you edit to make the event Searchable and Reportable.? This checkbox if checked for Inactive events causes the events to show up in the event selector.? Unchecking this checkbox is the way to fix this.
Another option is to delete the event since making Inactive events Unsearchable and Reportable is as good as deleting the event from system.
