Troubleshooting
Problem
If you use IBM® Rational Software Architect Designer (RSAD) to import a Microsoft® Visual Studio (VS) solution (.sln) file, RSAD terminates with a Java® was started but returned exit code= -1073741819 error.

Symptom
The following actions re-create the problem scenario:
- Start VS as an Administrator
- Add External Tool Rational Software Architect in the VS
- Open the .NET solution
- Debug the solution to ensure that the solution has no errors in VS
- Open RSA from External Tools in VS
- Import the same .NET solution int an RSAD workspace.
RESULT: RSAD terminates before the import finishes and the Java® was started but returned exit code= -1073741819 error message error appears.
