Import the Salesforce.com CA certificates into IBM Cognos, Salesforce.com as a data source to Cognos

Troubleshooting


Problem

All instances are hosted on the Salesforce.com cloud infrastructure. By default, when creating a new SFDC data source connection in Cognos Administration the URL will be the production systems at:salesforce.com:443/services/Soap/u/20.0 This has required for SSL connection between Cognos and Salesforce.com.

Symptom

Create a Salesforce connection in Cognos Admin to the following account and test connection to get error...XQE-GEN-0002 An unexpected exception occurred: Connecting "@@https://www.salesforce.com:443/services/Soap/u/20.0" failed. Error message
