Troubleshooting
Problem
After you import a project into IBM® Rational® Application Developer (RAD), the import javax.faces... statements display javax.faces... cannot be resolved errors.
Symptom
The following steps reproduce the problem:
- Import a portlet project into RAD
- Open the project's Java Resources > src > pagecode > PageCodeBase.java file
- Expand the statement:
import java.io.InputStream;
Expected Result: No errors appear in the code.
Actual Result: The error message The import javax.faces cannot be resolved appears when you hover on the following lines of code:
import javax.faces.component.NamingContainer;
import javax.faces.component.UIComponent;
import javax.faces.component.UIComponentBase;
import javax.faces.component.UIViewRoot ;
import javax.faces.context.FacesContext;
