Problem
I am trying to import Dbase (.dbf) files into SPSS using the Microsoft Dbase VFP driver in my data source. I get the following error message: >Warning. Command name: GET DATA >SQLExecDirect failed :[Microsoft][ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver]Command contains unrecognized phrase/keyword. Could the problem be that I do not have the necessary drivers installed?
Resolving The Problem
It is advised that you use the SPSS OEM DBASE File driver. You will need to install the SPSS Data Access Pack in order to use the driver. This can be found on the CD-Rom or you can download it from the support website
