impact-secret may be incorrect: The proxy openldap process attempts to authenticate the impactadmin user internally via SSL

Troubleshooting

Problem

We're trying to convert our Cloud deployment from a standalone (internal) LDAP configuration to connect via SSL to Active Directory.
We have followed the instructions and steps outlined at:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/noi/1.6.12?topic=configmaps-ldap-proxy-configmap
however the process fails with a message in the webgui pod logs indicating two failures for the impactadmin user authentication;
one relating to the standalone configuration and the other to the external LDAP server.

Symptom

The following error message is in the webgui pod log:

AUTHENTICATION_FAILED

AUTHFAILED for ldap user cn=impactadmin,dc=mycluster,dc=icp:XXX secret evtmanager-impact-secret may be incorrect

AUTHFAILED for ldap user CN=impactadmin,OU=Staff Accounts,OU=Technical Services,DC=Continental,DC=Service Group,DC=com:XXX secret evtmanager-ldap-secret may be incorrect
