Problem
IBM Installation Manager (IM) hangs when you install IBM Rational ClearCase 7.1.2 on Linux.
Symptom
Installation of ClearCase hangs and there are errors such as:
com.ibm.rational.cdi.was.install.WASInstallException: failed to install
WebSphere Application server version 6.1.0.25
Error occurred in phase: install
SU: was.install.linux_x86 7.1.2000.0000-7-1-2-D100517
IU: was.install.linux_x86 null->999.999.999.-299337763
Note: The problem is not seen when ClearCase 7.1.2 is installed without the CM Server functions but when the CM Server is installed, the Installation Manager hangs.
