If no profile was created, runAnt fails with error message "Prompting details for WebSphere Application Server"

Troubleshooting


Problem

In IBM Rational Application Developer, the headless build with runAnt.bat shows the error message "Workbench has not been created yet" and "Prompting details for WebSphere Application Server" if no profile was created for IBM WebSphere Application Server v6.0, v6.1 or v7.0 during installation.

Symptom

The workspace .log file <workspace>/.metadata/.log contains the following entries:


  • Prompting details for WebSphere Application Server

  • Workbench has not been created yet
