Problem
After adding new IDR CDC subscriptions or promoting new ones to the existing environment you receive an error when trying to start replication. "JDBC connection cannot be established for connection string "
Symptom
IDR CDC instance trace logs are indicating that JDBC connection cannot be established with Informix database:
JDBC connection cannot be established for connection string jdbc:informix-sqli://<host>:<port>/cdcsource:INFORMIXSERVER=<host>, user <cdc user>. com.datamirror.ts.jdbcagent.message.AgentException JDBC connection cannot be established for connection string jdbc:informix-sqli://<host>:<port>/cdcsource:INFORMIXSERVER=<host>, user <cdc user>.|A SQL exception has occurred. The SQL error code is '-908'. The SQL state is: 08004. The error message is: |com.informix.asf.IfxASFException: Attempt to connect to database server (<host>) failed.
