Abstract
ICM Property View Custom Editors
Body
The Property View Designer, introduced in IBM Case Manager 5.2 has been a very popular feature. It allows you to create role and task specific custom layouts for the display and entry of case and step properties without requiring the use of a separate forms application or the creation of custom data entry widgets.
For each available property data type. the View Designer provides a set of editors that controls how the property is displayed and how data is entered into it.
New in ICM 5.2.1 is the ability to create your own custom property editors and register them into Case Builder so that they are available for any solution you create by simply selecting from the Editor menu.
The team has created a new developerWorks article and accompanying sample code to show off this new capability.
