Problem

IBMDADB2 is not part of Client Access Express or IBM iSeries Access for Windows. It is part of the IBM DB2 UDB Client for Windows.

Resolving The Problem

The IBMDADB2 OLEDB provider is not part of the Client Access Express or IBM iSeries Access for Windows products. The OLEDB provider used by the iSeries Access for Windows product is called IBMDA400, IBMDASQL, or IBMDARLA.

IBMDADB2 is part of the IBM DB2 Client that can be installed on Microsoft Windows operating systems. It is the IBM OLE DB 2.0-compliant provider for DB2.
