Feature Pack highlights

• WebSphere Adapter for Oracle E-Business Suite supports XML Gateway interface and service metadata discovery through Oracle Integration Repository, thus providing a consistent approach for accessing/storing content in Oracle E-Business Suite.
• WebSphere Adapter for Oracle E-Business Suite supports Oracle overloaded stored procedure and PL/SQL BOOLEAN type, thereby providing comprehensive accessing capability to specific content in Oracle E-Business Suite.
• The WebSphere Adapter for Enterprise Content Management has been introduced, which exchanges data (documents) with the CMIS server.

Prerequisite
WebSphere Adapters V7.0 Feature Pack 2 is dependent on WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0 Feature Pack 2 and WebSphere Process Server V7.0.0.3. WebSphere Adapters V7.0 Feature Pack 2 is packaged as part of WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0 Feature Pack 2.


WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0 Feature Pack 2 in turn, has a prerequisite of WebSphere Integration Developer Fix Pack level 7.0.0.3. WebSphere Integration Developer Fix Pack 7.0.0.3 must be installed on your system before installing this Feature Pack.

Known limitations
If Adapter credentials are passed in via the ConnectionSpec and only the username is provided, then an exception is thrown and the reason for failure (missing password) is not logged correctly. Always ensure that both the username and password are provided if credentials are sent via the ConnectionSpec.


When you use the filter on the Oracle system version tree in the 'Specify the Discovery Properties' window, after entering the required property values, the Next button is not available for selection and you cannot proceed to the next step in the Enterprise Metadata Discovery wizard. To overcome this problem, click the Cancel button and launch the external service wizard again. Before using the filter on the Oracle system version tree in the 'Specify the Discovery Properties' window, select the product version and enter the required property values; the Next button will be available for use and you can proceed to the next step.


When you select the connection information for XML Gateway integration on the CWYOE_OracleEBS tree in the 'Select an Adapter' window, and proceed to the 'Specify the Discovery Properties' window, the version node is incorrectly selected. To overcome this problem, select the version node of XML Gateway that you would like to work with, and then fill in required connection information.
