Limitations:

• Director 6.1 Server has SCM integrated but only SCM standalone supports ServeRAID MR Controller Module.
• SCM is not supported on same machine with installed Director 6.1 Server.
• SCM is not supported with (and will replace) Linux slpd that do not register agents. Disable Linux slpd before installing SCM.
• SCM is not supported on Xen based Linux kernels.
• SCM only supports one instance of SCM 2.10.0 standalone or Director 6.1 Server to manage a single device.

Dependencies:

• IBM Director 6.1 is not required and specifically cannot be on same machine with SCM 2.10.0 standalone.
• IBM Director 5.20 not required, but if optionally installed on same machine it must be at the following levels:
• IBM Director Core Services 5.20.2 or later required before installing SCM 2.10.0 IBM Director Server or Agent 5.20.3 or later required before installing
