Troubleshooting
Problem
Errors that can occur when max wf_id value is greater than 2147483648.
Symptom
Unable to view child business processes in Business Process Monitor.
External purge fails.
BP Meta data service fails to find the workflow_id.
NumberFormatException observed in logs for workflow_ids exceeding the allowable integer data type 2147483648. wf.log, noapp.log, extpurge logs may contain errors similar to the following,
noapp.log:
ALL 000000000000 GLOBAL_SCOPE java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string:"2157982124"
...
extpurge.log:
java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "2148107610"
at java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString
...
wf.log:
WORKFLOW.SERVICES.ERR_BPMetaDataService_Exception9 Caught DB error while retrieving WFD_ID by WORKFLOW_ID
