Troubleshooting
Problem
You work on Apple Macintosh OS 10.15 Catalina and installed IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription release.
When working with Python 2.7 within Subscription or Python 2.7 related extensions you may get some errors about files being damaged or that they cannot be verified by MacOS.
The files are for example libpython2.7.dylib, _collections.so or operator.so
Symptom
You may see errors like the below:
"libpython2.7.dylib" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
"_collections.so" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. macos cannot verify that this app is free from malware.
"operator.so" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. macos cannot verify that this app is free from malware.
