IBM Spectrum Control supports these 64-bit versions of Db2 11.5 as the database repository:

    • Ensure that the operating system on the Db2 server has general or extended support for maintenance and security.
    • Ensure that the version/fix pack level is backward compatible with the current Db2 version running.
    • A full backup is strongly suggested prior to upgrading.
