Abstract
IBM Security Access Request is the mobile application for IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence and IBM® Security Identity Manager. It enables users to manage the passwords of their accounts, and managers to approve or reject pending requests from a mobile phone device.

IBM Security Access Request works with the following Identity products:
- IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence Version 5.2.4.1, and later.
- IBM Security Identity Manager Version 6.0.0.21 or appliance Version 7.0.1.11
For IBM Security Identity Manager mobile: The IBM Security Identity Manager mobile app is deprecated and no longer supported. Use the IBM Security Access Request mobile app instead.
Supported platforms
- Apple iOS 11.0 or later, and iPhone6 or later
- Android 6.0 or later
Note: The app supports Portrait mode only.
Downloading IBM Security Access Request
IBM Security Access Request runs on Apple devices with iOS Version 11.0.0, or later, and Android devices with Version 6.0, or later.
- Browse for the app.
- On Apple iOS devices, start the App Store.
- On Android devices, go to the Google Play Store.
- Search for "IBM Access".
- Download and install the app on your device.
- Tap the app icon to open the app.
Configuring IBM Security Access Request
Follow these steps to configure the app:
1. Contact your administrator and get the host URL for the Identity Governance and Intelligence or Security Identity Manager application interface. Only URLs that use the https protocol are supported. For example:

| For IBM Security Identity Manager | https://<hostname>:<port>/itim |
2. Enter the host URL
3. Enter your username and password, and click Configure
At any time during your use of IBM Security Access Request, you can switch from Identity Governance and Intelligence to IBM Security Identity Manager, or the contrary, by changing the Host URL in the page.

Using IBM Security Access Request
When you log in to IBM Security Access Request, the Dashboard is displayed. The dashboard displays the number of the user accounts that the user can manage the password and the number of pending requests that await the user's evaluation as a manager. The user can select either of the following tabs:
Manage Passwords: Enables the user to change the passwords of its accounts.
Manage Requests: If the user has a role for request approval, enables the user to view a list of pending requests, and approve, reject, or redirect them.
