The IBM Security Access Manager for IBM MaaS360 integration enables Single Sign On, Context Based access and Federation from a mobile device to on premise and Cloud protected resources using the MaaS360 Secure Browser, MaaS360 Secure Mail, MaaS360 Software Development Kit (SDK) and limited support for native browsers running on MaaS360 registered devices.

Connections from the mobile device through the Mobile Enterprise Gateway (MEG) are authenticated to Security Access Manager for Web. Once authenticated to Security Access Manager for Web, downstream SSO to protected resources is achieved using a broad range of authentication mechanisms including existing Single Sign On patterns and integration adapters such as Trust Association Interceptor (TAI), Lightweight Third-Party Authentication (LTPA), Basic Authentication (GSO, -B, etc.), HTTP header (Kerberos, iv-creds, etc.) and Federation (using IBM Security Access Manager Federation).

When configured with Security Access Manager Advanced Access Control, fine grained authorization using Context Based Access (CBA) and Risk Based Access (RBA) provides policy driven access control and multi factor authentication. A range of attributes may be using in the access policy, including MaaS360 device data by enabling the Fiberlink MaaS360 Policy Information Point (PIP).

When configured with IBM Security Access Manager Federation, Federated Single Sign On (FSSO) to a range of on premise and Cloud services is enabled using standards based federation protocols for authentication.
