Abstract

This integration guide describes the procedures for integrating IBM Security Access Manager with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence to achieve Single Sign-On capability.

Download Description

This integration uses IBM Security Access Manager as a web reverse-proxy securing IBM HTTP Server (IHS) or Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), deployed as the gateway for Cognos Application Server.
An LDAP Namespace is configured for external identity mapping, validating the authenticated user ID from IBM Security Access Manager and establishing a trust relationship between IBM Security Access Manager and Cognos.

IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.2.1, or
IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.2.0, or
IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.1.1, or
IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.1.0

and

IBM Security Access Manager for Web Version 8.0, or
IBM Security Access Manager for Web Version 7.0, or
IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business WebSEAL Version 6.1.1
