The recommended version for open systems 8.2.3d, which is identified as target path by Broadcom and is available and supported for Gen 5 platforms only.
**FOS 8.2.3d is FICON qualified for Brocade 7840 only.
The recommended version for FICON environments is 8.2.3c1.
