IBM System Storage DS4800 Storage Server Cluster Configurations.
Resolving The Problem
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Failover Cluster Configuration Program
|
---|
Please select your IBM System Storage model and Server from the drop down box below: For Windows Server 2008 the way that Clusters are qualified has changed significantly with the introduction of the cluster validation wizard. If a Failover Cluster using Certified for Windows Server 2008 hardware and software components passes the full set of validation tests then it is a supported configuration. IBM and Microsoft have also partnered in the Failover Cluster Configuration Program. This program ensures that the configurations listed as "Validated by Microsoft Failover Cluster Configuration Program" have been tested as an entire solution and will support failover clustering in Windows Server 2008. When you perform routine updates to software components such as drivers and firmware, it may be necessary to re-run the validation wizard to ensure that the current configuration of the failover cluster is supported.
