Cluster Validated Solutions are listed by controller and firmware code levels. The IBM Microsoft Windows 2008 Failover Cluster Solution Program is designed to deliver tested and validated cluster configurations for your High Availability Solution needs. Hardware components listed in this program have been tested and validated as compatible for use in a Windows 2008 family Failover Cluster Solution. In addition all hardware components included in this program have received a "Certified for Windows 2008" logo. To view a matrix of compatible Windows 2008 Failover Cluster components select an option from the drop-down box above. Solution matrices are listed by specific controller models and firmware release levels. Failover cluster configurations can be created by selecting various servers, HBA, and storage components. From each matrix you will find links to the latest code and updates available for download. Microsoft Failover Cluster Configuration Program (FCCP) As of December 31, 2009 Microsoft discontinued the transitional Failover Cluster Configuration Program. The program was intended to transition solution providers from the Windows Logo Kit (WLK) Driver Test Manager (DTM) to the Windows 2008 snap-in Cluster Validation Tool (CVT). Archived solutions listed under the FCCP can be found here As a best practice IBM and Microsoft recommend that all customers run the Windows 2008 snap-in Cluster Validation Tool when setting up a cluster solution. The cluster validation tool will flag potential configuration issues prior to implementing a solution.
