Abstract

On 28 August 2025, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Operator patch 9.1.2.  As with all patches, it is cumulative. In addition to the new fixes listed here, all fixes from earlier patches for this version are included.

This patch updates Manage to version 9.1.234.

Manage Operator 9.1.2 (9.1.214) includes IBM Maximo Application Suite Health Component patch 9.1.15.

DT440155 Inventory usage In the Inventory Usage application, transferring an item between two FIFO-type storerooms with single bins causes the Quantity Received to be a multiple of the actual quantity entered in the Inventory Usage Line.

DT446320 Scheduler/Crew Changing the value of the QUALMET domain causes an error in creating a new Work Order with a qualification in the Labor section of the Actuals tab: "BMXAA4049E - The value specified exceeds the maximum field length that is allowed for this attribute.".
DT446347 Mobile In Inspection Forms, a user cannot delete Conditions when changing Revision List order.
DT446631 System UI In Mobile Inspections, after batching Inspection Forms in landscape mode, the Search button does not work.
DT446654 Configuration Tool Cannot upgrade duplicate Mobile applications.
DT446680 System UI Adding a lookup to the priority field, then filtering using the priority field, users cannot reset options and must restart the application.

DT446934 Mobile Maximo mobile intermittently presents a gray screen with a spinning wheel when left in background for some time.
DT446944 Spatial The Spatial print tool generates a PDF that does not match the map's appearance as shown on the Map tab.
DT446961 System UI A PM record with an Asset with ABANDONED status does not generate a Work Order, throwing the error "BMXAA0090E - Asset XXXX is not a valid asset, or its status is not an operating status.".
DT447348 Report In Report Administration, saving a report with a title that has special characters does not decode html entity codes.
DT447381 Scheduler In Graphical Assignment, having the PRESERVESKDDATA flag on causes a save/refresh error "BMXAT0050E - The project data failed to populate into scheduler tables for project.".
DT425148 Operator Manage pods show 1/2 ready when readiness.log is missing or lacks BMXAA6472I, causing false probe failures and routing issues.
APAR Change instructions
To add new message, follow these steps:
1. Log into Manage as an administrative user.
2. Go to Database Configuration.
3. In the More Actions section, click Messages.
4. Click the New Row icon (plus sign inside a circle)
5. For the new row, enter these details:
  • Message Group: configdb
  • Message Key: verifyAssetAttributeIdOnCISpec
  • Display Method: TEXT
  • Message ID Prefix: BMXAA
  • Message ID Suffix: I
  •  Display ID?: Checked
  • Value: Verifying whether CISPEC records have a configured assetattributeid.
  • Button Yes or no?: unchecked
  • Button Ok : Checked
6.  Add a second message:
  • Message Group: configdb
  • Message Key: assetattributeidIsNotAssociated
  •  Display Method: MSGBOX
  • Message ID Prefix: BMXAA
  • Message ID Suffix: E
  • Display ID?: Checked
  • Value: One or more CISPEC records don't have assetattributeid configured. Manually update the records to correctly map each assetattributeid to the corresponding asset attribute in the Asset Attribute table.
  • Button Yes or no?: unchecked
  • Button Ok: checked
  • Button Cancel: checked
When finished, click OK.
