Abstract
On 28 August 2025, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Operator patch 9.0.16. As with all patches, it is cumulative. In addition to the new fixes listed here, all fixes from earlier patches for this version are included.

Follow these steps.
1. Navigate to System Configuration -> Platform Configuration -> Automation Scripts

There are two options to execute the manual steps required for this APAR. Both start with steps 1 to 4.
If you wish to limit this behavior to Self-Service only, go to step 5 in the Option 2 section.
1. Open Application Designer. 2. Click Export System XML.
3. Click LIBRARY. Save the file as library.xml.
4. Open the library.xml file in a text editor.
Option 1
5. Search for the following dialog. At the end, add parentsave="true"
6. Save library.xml
7. In Application Designer, import the modified library.xml.
8. Save changes.
Option 2
5. Search for the following dialog.
6. Copy the and paste the dialog beneath it.
7. Change the id parameter in the new dialog to a unique value. 8. Add parentsave="true" to the end of the new dialog. 9. Save library.xml.
10. Go back to Application Designer.
11. Click Export System XML.
12. Click MENUS. Save the file as menus.xml
14. Open the menus.xml file in a text editor.
15. Search for <menu id="DRATTACHMENTS">
16. Copy and paste the menu item below the first one.
17. Update the value of event for the menuitem with id="raddnewfile" to the id name of the dialog created in steps 6-8.
20. Save library.xml.
21. In Application Designer, import the modified library.xml and menus.xml files.
22. Save changes.
