Abstract
On 25 June 2026, IBM released IBM Maximo IT version 9.2 which is an add-on to the Maximo Manage application in Maximo Application Suite.
Content
Maximo IT 9.2 comes with the following new features:
New and enhanced applications:
- Agentic AI assisted incident summarization and knowledge creation (solution generation)
- Efficient software tracking with the Software Tracking application
- Simplifying Offering creation with the Service Offerings application
Enhancements:
- Submit multiple services with Service bundling in Self Serve
- Improved collaboration with sound notifications for chats originating from Self Serve Application
- Focused navigation with the left navigation panel
- Gain deeper insights with the new Reliability tab and information in Service View application
- IT-OT Service support across ITSM applications
- Automatic visibility of the IT Details tab in Assets
- Expanded Service Delivery scope to include service requests
- Create incidents and service requests directly from Service Delivery
Expanded integrations:
- Discover assets with IBM MaaS360 integration
Deprecations:
- Self Service Center deprecation
Platform updates:
- Future-ready platform with Java 25 support
