Problem

How to verify the version of your Mozilla Firefox web-browser

Resolving The Problem

  • Open your Mozilla Firefox Web-browser
  • In the top left hand corner of your screen, click on “Help” [Alt] + [H]
  • From the drop-down menu, click on “About Firefox”.
    • You will see your version of Firefox here. (Example 52.0)
The most recent version of Firefox, version52, no longer supports NPAPI plugins. This means that Apple Quicktime and Java will not work with this version of the web-browse. You will need to install the Extended Support Release version of Firefox to run this plugin. You may complete this installation, using the link provided below.

Once you have opened the webpage, please locate your preferred language for the download. If you are using a Windows computer, you will need to install the Windows 32-bit version. If you are using an Apple computer, please ensure that you select the MacOS Download.
