Answer
Conditional Forms
What is a Conditional Form?
A Conditional Form is a workflow feature which allows for the use of conditions to determine which form(s) should be displayed or attached on a single activity.
How are conditions added to a workflow to use Conditional Forms?
Workflows are configured here: Settings > Job Settings > Job Workflow
Select the
icon to configure the activity and add the form(s) which should be displayed or attached to the task.
After configuring the activity, select the
icon which allows the configuration of conditions for multiple parts of an activity.
To configure a conditional form, select the
icon next to 'Activity attachment(s)' to add a condition and select the respective form.
Note: When using Conditional Forms as part of GENERIC_FORM_ACTIVITIES and adding conditions to Activity attachments, you MUST provide a condition for ALL of the attached forms. This is a control which ensures that only one PDF form displays to the end user for their acknowledgement or signature. Part of this control and validation requires the configuration of a 'Default' Form, which will display to the end user if none, or more than one, of the conditions configured are met. If the default form is displayed to an end user, an email is also sent to the a predetermined party to alert them. This email is intended for a system administrator to be able to:
1. ensure the end user is presented with the correct forms, and
2. to give the system administrator a notice to review workflow configurations to ensure conditions are configured correctly.
