How to open IBM Partner+ Java 7.1 on AIX development assistance cases on AIX for Oracle eBS post Java 7.1 End Of Service(EOS)?
Answer
This document provides instructions for Oracle eBS development teams to open IBM Partner+ program Java 7.1 development assistance cases on AIX. These instructions are intended for Oracle eBS development teams only.
Note: Cases opened by clients or vendors, other than Oracle eBS development, for Java 7.1 using these instructions will be immediately closed.
Follow these steps to open the development assisted cases:
- Open a case using your Oracle eBS Partner+ ID on the IBM MySupport Site
For assistance opening a support case, refer to the web page: How to Open a Case. - On the MySupport page, click "Cases" located in the header section.
From the drop down menu, select "IBM Business Partner cases". - On the next page, select "Product Support"
- On the "Open a Case" page, complete the new case form:
- Type of support: Product support
- Case title: Partner+: Oracle eBS +Java 7.1 assistance
- Product manufactor: IBM
- Product: AIX
- Severity: 2
- Description: Opened in accordance with agreement between Oracle eBS and IBM development teams for Java 7.1 assistance
Then provide a detailed description of the issue or question. - Preferred Language: English
- Enhanced Email: Select your preference for case notifications
- Complete remainder of fields as needed
- Upload supported data of the issue into the case
- Click "Submit case"
