Problem
To run IBM Installation Manager on Linux platforms in GUI mode, you must use the GNOME desktop environment. The IBM Installation Manager Linux GUI is tested in the GNOME desktop environment. Other desktop environments, such as K Desktop Environment (KDE), may work. However, they are not supported.
