Abstract
This document describes support information for the Hypervisor Pattern known as Informix Hypervisor Edition. The Informix Ultimate Edition runs on top of a hypervisor such as IBM PureAS or IBM Workload Deployer, and is available for either Redhat Enterprise Linux or AIX.

IBM Informix Hypervisor Edition for AIX contains a virtual system pattern for creating reproducible deployments of IBM Informix Ultimate Edition and a virtual image for creating other virtual system patterns. The virtual system pattern included with IBM Informix Hypervisor Edition for AIX is deployed into virtual environments through IBM Workload Deployer. - IBM Informix Hypervisor Edition for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server
IBM Informix Hypervisor Edition for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server contains a virtual system pattern for creating reproducible deployments of IBM Informix Ultimate Edition and a virtual image for creating other virtual system patterns. You can deploy the virtual system pattern included with IBM Informix Hypervisor Edition for Red Hat Linux Server onto IBM hardware through IBM Pure Application System or into other virtual environments through IBM Workload Deployer.
Support entitlement is dependent upon your license and/or maintenance agreements for IBM Informix Hypervisor Edition for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server (or AIX), and is limited to your use of the relevant prerequisite.
