Prerequisites

This interim fix can be applied to a system with an existing installation of IBM i2 Analyst's Notebook version 9.2.2. It must not be applied to other versions of IBM i2 Analyst's Notebook.

Installation information

To upgrade an existing installation of IBM i2 Analyst's Notebook version 9.2.2:

1. Extract the contents of the compressed file: IBM_i2_Analysts_Notebook_9.2.2_iFix1.zip
   The compressed file contains the following files:
   IBM_i2_Analysts_Notebook_9.2.2_iFix1.exe
   IBM_i2_Analysts_Notebook_9.2.2_iFix1.msp
2. Double-click on either the .exe file or the .msp file.
3. Follow the steps of the installation wizard.

List of fixes

The following issues are resolved by this interim fix:

• This interim fix contains security updates for IBM i2 Analyst’s Notebook version 9.2.2.

• When custom icons are used as the display icons, they are saved in the chart and visible when the chart is reopened.

APARs

• Using shift and right mouse button on the chart background no longer displays a reduced context menu. [APAR PO08862]

• When a value is left blank in the Conditional Formatting lookup table, it is preserved as blank and not populated with characters that can interfere with match results. [APAR PO08927]

• Changes made to the icon frame's default color are saved in the template and do not revert to the default frame color. [APAR PO08874]

• Charts that contain custom icons created in Analyst's Notebook version 8.9.5 can be opened in later versions without causing Analyst's Notebook to crash. [APAR PO08863]

• Third party plug-ins that call the API method "RefreshIconImages" results in changes to icons being available in the user interface without the need to restart Analyst's Notebook. [APAR PO08958]

• Analyst's Notebook no longer initializes a CEF browser instance when it is not required. [APAR PO08929]

• Using New Zealand specific content supplied from ArcGIS Online in i2 Esri Maps no longer causes Analyst's Notebook to crash. [APAR PO08973]
