    Note: The only internal removable media device supported by IBM i on Power8 is the SATA slimline DVD drive (FC 5771)

    Note: SAS tape library devices are not supported, except for TS2900 in sequential mode, when attached by using a VIOS partition.

    Note:  When a Fibre Channel tape device is attached by using a VIOS partition (NPIV support) a SAN switch is always required.
