Question
How can the processor usage be determined on IBM i partitions as seen by License Management?
Answer
Perform the following operations to determine the number of processors currently being used on your IBM i partitions:
|
1. |
From a 5250 command line, issue the following command: CALL QSYS/QLZARCAPI |
| 2. | Select the 'SYSTEM INFO ...' message at the bottom of the screen and press F1. |
| 3. | Press F10 to display the full message. |
| 4. |
Look for the entry ENTITLED PROCESSING CAPACITY as this is the number of processors used.
*Note: This can also be seen with WRKLICINF, press enter, option 5 on 5770SS1 feature 5051. The Licensed key limit will also be listed from this command as well.
