iSeries NetServer does not support Windows Distributed File System (DFS).

Resolving The Problem

IBM i NetServer does not support Windows Distributed File System (DFS). There are many flows in Microsoft's DFS setup that are not supported by the IBM i Integrated File system and are therefore not supported by IBM i Netserver. The IBM i smb/cifs client, QNTC, does not support DFS until v7r5m0 of the OS.
