Abstract

This document describes how to download the IBM® Healthcare Provider Data Model v8.7 from the IBM Passport Advantage® Online Website.

Download Description

The IBM Healthcare Provider Data Model is a data management solution for the Healthcare Provider industry. It captures all relevant analytical aspects, but particular to this space are:

  • Clinical Analytics
  • Financial Performance
  • Operational Performance
  • Regulatory Reporting
It supports the most important US standards, as well as international standards such as HL7, making it highly applicable to non-US healthcare provider entities.

The linkage of fully described business terms, analytical requirements (aka business solution templates), a business data model and atomic warehouse and dimensional warehouse logical data models with full lineage provides a unique offering unsurpassed in this space.

Prerequisites

Before you install ensure that your computer meets the Hardware and Software Requirements outlined in the following document:

Installation Instructions

To Install:

  • Extract all the files from the Download Package
  • Navigate to the Disk1 folder
  • Double-click setup.exe
  • Follow the instructions in the installation wizards

Or for Accessibility support, to Install using the installer with screen reader software:
  • Extract all the files from the Download Package
  • Install the Java Access Bridge and enable it for using screen reader software
  • Ensure Java is executable from all paths
  • Navigate to the "Disk1\InstData\NoVM" folder
  • Double-click Install.exe
  • Follow the instructions in the installation wizards.
