IBM FileNet Capture Professional 5.2 custom application is getting the error "The instruction at '0x0d406b7a' referenced memory at '0x0d533dc0'. The memory could not be 'read'." when exiting the application.

Symptom

Kodak i150 Scanners

A new Capture .NET project was created, and the Scan.ocx component was added to the project. The application ran without any problems. However, when closing the application, a message box popped up indicating, "The instruction at '0x0d406b7a' referenced memory at '0x0d533dc0'. The memory could not be 'read'."
