Abstract
The IBM Enhanced Diagnostics is a self-booting DOS-based diagnostic utility used to detect failing hardware components. IBM in conjunction with Watergate Software (the makers of PC Doctor diagnostic software) has developed a highly effective diagnosticsfor IBM Netfinity servers and IBM IntelliStation workstations.

- This release of PCDR for DOS is built using a RAM Drive. This image has a compressed file (DIAG.EXE) that will unzip to a ram drive. A PCDR.PDO file is included on the image for any customization that might be required.

- The Fixed Disk Optimized Test was updated to Level 35. This fixes problems associated when testing SCSI Hard files.
- Code was added to force a cache flush on every A20 toggle. This fixes memory test issues on certain chip sets.

Use IBM's new Fixed Disk Optimized test to make sure your hard drive is working correctly.
Use the new Iomega Zip Drive Test to test the zip drive and the drive interface. The test takes about 20 seconds to run.
The default tests the following:
- Controller
- Max Seek (50 times)
- Random Seek (300 sectors)

Starting the IBM Enhanced Diagnostics Program

- Shut down and turn off the computer.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Insert the "IBM Enhanced Diagnostics Diskette" into diskette drive A or the "IBM Enhanced Diagnostics CD" into the CD-ROM drive.
- Turn on the computer. The initial diagnostics menu will be displayed. Please view the readme file for additional information on running the diagnostics.
