IBM DevOps Test UI identifies Java application objects in incorrect locations after upgrading to 11.0.2

Troubleshooting

Problem

After upgrading IBM DevOps Test UI (former product name Rational Functional Tester) to 11.0.2 from earlier versions, you may experience the following behavior while recognizing controls from a Java application in Functional Test perspective.

  • Objects are identified in incorrect locations
  • Objects are captured with X-Y coordinates instead of the proper locators
