APAR / IssueDESCRIPTION
APAR IT14596UNABLE TO ADD NEW COPYSETS TO AN SVC SESSION THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PREPARED.

After installing the 6.1.1.0 version, when adding copy sets to an SVC session which is already running, an internal error occurs causing the pairs to never be added to the hardware consistency group. This issue was introduced with the ability to add a user defined delay time for the auto restart feature. This has been fixed in 6.1.1.1.
APAR IT14549 CUSTOMERS UPGRADING TO CSM 6.1 THAT USE THE AUTHENTICATION FILE,THE CLI NO LONGER READS FROM THE USER HOME DIRECTORY.

Starting with the 6.1.0.0 release, a CLI change was introduced which only searched the install directory for the authentication file which allows the user to start the CLI without having to type the userid and password each time. This prevents the ability for the customer to set up the authentication file for multiple users by storing the file in each user’s home directory. The 6.1.1.1 release fixes this by searching the user’s home directory for the authentication file first and then searching the install directory if one was not found in the user home directory.
Defect 59482ISSUE CAUSING IBM COPY SERVICES MANAGER AND SPECTRUM CONTROL TO LOG EACH OTHER OUT

The 6.1.1.1 release fixes an issue where Copy Servics Manager and Spectrum Control are using the same cookie names such that when using the same browser for both products, one product would log out the other product. There is still a potential issue being looked at where the Spectrum Control GUI may be logged out or expired due to Copy Services Manager.

Upgrades



This fix pack is a full version of IBM Copy Services Manager. The fix pack media does not include the enablement files.  If installing without the enablement files, the install will be done with an Evaluation license agreement and the enablement files will need to be applied later for full functionality of the product.
