Abstract

If you install IBM Content Navigator on a non-Windows operating system, you must install the GTK 2+ runtime libraries to use the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool graphical user interface.

The graphical user interface version of the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool does not work if the appropriate GTK 2+ runtime libraries are not installed on AIX, Linux, and Linux for System z.

Install the 32-bit GTK runtime libraries for your operating system. To download the GTK libraries for your operating system, contact your operating system vendor for assistance.

For example, on RedHat Enterprise Linux Version 6, you can run the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool graphical user interface if you have the following GTK libraries installed:

  • PackageKit-gtk-module.i686
  • libcanberra-gtk2.i686
  • gtk2-engines.i686
