Troubleshooting
Problem
When accessing IBM Content Navigator desktop with Content Platform Engine Applets Support plug-in enabled, IBM Content Navigator intermittently issues CIWEB2039 "The CPEAppletsPlugin plugin-in contains errors".
Symptom
In IBM Content Navigator web client log, it shows the following entries

13:17:24.692 CIWEB ENTRY: ecm.model.Desktop.addMessage

Cause
The error indicates loading CPEAppletsPlug-in file failed.
When JAR file path is defined with http URL and the network has performance issue, the error is generated.
Resolving The Problem
There are two options.
Option 1: tune the network performance.
Option 2: Change the JAR file path for CPEAppletsPlugin from http URL to local directory of IBM Content Navigator server. Here are the steps.
- Download the CPEAppletsPlugin.jar from the http URL, that is, http://hostname:port#/peengine/plugins/CPEAppletsPlugin.jar.
- Store CPEAppletsPlugin.jar at local disk of IBM Content Navigator, that is, <IBM Content Navigator install directory>/plugins/CPEAppletsPlugin.jar
- Change the JAR file path from http URL to the directory of IBM Content Navigator server, where CPEAppletsPlugin.jar resides, that is, <IBM Content Navigator install directory>/plugins/CPEAppletsPlugin.jar
