Is it possible to set a specific default language for all users within IBM Content Navigator (ICN)?
Answer
There is no option to set a default language during an ICN installation or at the server level. The language is set at an individual user level from the user menu in the top right of the screen.


The default setting is 'Use Browser Language Setting'. Each individual user may change the language to one of their choosing, but the default for all users cannot be set to a specific language. The reason for this is that these preferences are stored in a browser cookie, so they will only be available on the browser in which they are configured. ICN doesn't support saving these preferences on the server.
