Troubleshooting
Problem
During DB2 Text Search text index creation, the error SQL -20427 occurs due to a failure of DB2 Text Search text index creation. One of the possible reasons for this failure is the improper deployment of the document constructor.
Symptom
You can get this error when you add a DB2 Text Search text search index for an
item type by using the system administration client. The server.log file
contains error messages similar to the following example:
10/03 19:32:44.938 GMT ; 2013/10/03 14:32:44.938 LCT ; 10172 PID;03193030415719

rc=7064 reason=0 extrc=-20427 extreason=0
Also, in the text search server trace of trace0 under installPath\log, you see
the following error:
QQR0007E The DB2_ICMNLSDB_TS333020_0000 collection cannot be created.
Causes of the problem:
IQQG0189E The constructor [ICMDCTOR] was not found.
For an integrated DB2 Text Search server configuration on Windows, this trace0
is under the C:\PROGRADATA\IBM\DB2\DB2COPY1\DB2\db2tss\log path. If your IBM
Content Manager Enterprise Edition is on UNIX, this path would be the
/home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2tss/log path.
