Abstract
This document describes how to download IBM CommonStore for Exchange Server Version 8.4 using the Passport Advantage Tool.
Download Description
CommonStore for Exchange Server is an e-mail archiving solution designed for Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Outlook clients. It includes, among many others, the following functions and features:
- Archiving
- Retrieval
- Archive search
- Outlook Web Access support
- Integration capabilities for records management.
Space requirements
- 358 MB of disk space to store the full set of downloadable parts, plus 380 MB of disk space to unpack the parts.
- 350 MB of disk space to install the product.
Downloading and assembling the product
- Navigate your browser to the Find Downloads and Media page on the IBM Passport Advantage Online Web site. You must log on to continue.
- Select the Find by part number search option under Download finder options.
- Search for each downloadable image by part number (parts are listed and described by platform, below).
- Download all of the parts you need.
- Unpack each of the parts into a single, temporary directory on your system.
- Open the Quick Start image and follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to install the product.
Checking for updates
To check whether fix packs or interim fixes are available for the product, click the Check for updates link below. Enter your IBM ID and password to proceed. If you have forgotten your IBM ID or have never registered, follow the instructions on the sign-in page.
After signing in:
1. Select CSX 8.4.
2. Accept the license agreement to proceed.
3. Download the fix pack or interim fix and the readme file.
