IBM Cognos Command CenterCCC (CCC) Cloud agent throws error when testing due to Zscaler proxy

Troubleshooting


Problem

When testing a CCC Cloud agent, the following error is thrown:

Remote agent not found at xxxx.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com/ccagent/ port 443 (https://xxxxx.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagent/). The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.


Symptom

In CCC UI, a test of Cloud agent returns the following error:

In Internet Explorer (IE) browser, a test of the Cloud agent URL (https://xxxxx.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com/ccagent/) returns the following error: 

  • This page can’t be displayed. Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://xxxxx.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagent/ again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator. 
Note that a test of the Cloud agent URL in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome may be successful.
