The default task email notifications are not sent. CWTKE0012I and CWLLG1139W messages are seen in the SystemOut.log file.
You see the following messages in the SystemOut.log file:
CWTKE0012I: The Human Task Manager (HTM) mail function will be disabled.
CWLLG1139W: Mail template cannot be found. Sending of email is aborted.
Resolving The Problem
This issue is caused by an incorrect configuration in the 100Custom.xml file. The mail configuration code within your 100Custom.xml file should have a section like the following code:
The error occurs when the following two lines are missing:
Without the previous lines of code, the IBM Business Process Manager product cannot locate the email templates and cannot send email. After you add the lines into the 100Custom.xml file, restart the server so that the updates are pulled into the TeamWorksConfiguration.running.xml file. After you restart the server, the email feature should be functional.
