Abstract

This document lists fixes that have been delivered in IBM Blockchain Platform v2.1.3.

Important note:
Before upgrading to IBM Blockchain Platform v2.1.3, follow these critical and mandatory instructions to update the ordering service components to maintain availability of the ordering nodes.
IBM Blockchain Platform v2.1.3 Fix Pack 1
Release date: 16 April 2020
Fixes included:
  • The peer and orderer do not provide support for intermediate certificate authorities.
  • HSM is not enabled after migration from IBM Blockchain Platform v2.1.2 to v2.1.3.
  • HSM-enabled certificate authorities timeout during initialization.
  • Deleted ordering service nodes could be automatically recreated even though they were marked as deleted.
  • Smart contract packages that are larger than 4MB do not install successfully.
  • When an anchor peer is deleted, the Console is not updated to remove that peer from the list of anchor peers, thus resulting in gossip messages that the removed peer cannot be contacted.

Fixes included:
  • Failed operations (such as chaincode installation) lead to "all subconnections are in transient failure" messages.
  • The orderer configuration does not use TLS CSR hostname information provided by the user.
  • Creating peer or orderer nodes using external certificate authority certificates fails.
  • The Console UI validation of certificate authority enroll ID and secret information does not match the characters that can be entered.
