Abstract

This document describes how to download IBM® Banking Data Warehouse and IBM® Financial Services Data Model 8.3.0 from the IBM Passport Advantage® Online Website

Download Description

The IBM® Banking Data Warehouse (BDW) and the IBM Financial Services Data Model (FSDM) are a comprehensive set of business models that represent best practice in Banking and Financial Services. The BDW provides an information architecture blueprint with detailed business content that can be applied to many different types of initiatives on an enterprise-wide basis or a specific project scope. The BDW contains an enterprise-wide ontology which is used to precisely define the meaning of the many concepts that make up the Financial Institution’s core information and its business environment.

Prerequisites

Before you install ensure that your computer meets the System Requirements and that all prerequisite software is installed.

ERwin®version 7.3.5.1945

Note: IBM® InfoSphere® Data Architect is only required for installing the optional Industry Models IDA Tools

System Requirements

Operating System : Windows® XP Professional
Memory : 2GB RAM

Installation Instructions

To Install:
- Extract all the files from the Download Package.
- Navigate to the Disk1 folder.
- Double click on setup.exe.
- Follow the instructions in the installation wizards.
