Problem

For IBM Advanced Settings Utility (ASU) version 2.1 and greater, ASU supports certificate generation and certificate signing requests using Remote Supervisor Adapter (RSA) II commands. These commands may fail if issued to the RSA II SlimLine card runningthe currently released version of firmware.

Symptom

For IBM Advanced Settings Utility (ASU) version 2.1 and greater, ASU supports certificate generation and certificate signing requests using Remote Supervisor Adapter (RSA) II commands. These commands may fail if issued to the RSA II SlimLine card running the currently released version of firmware.

Solution

This behavior will be corrected in a future release.

The Target date for this release is scheduled for Fourth Quarter 2007.

Support for certificate generation and certificate signing requests from the IBM Advanced Settings Utility version 2.1 will be in future RSA II SlimLine firmware.

Note: These ASU commands will only be supported on RSA II SlimLine cards.
