WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit V7.0

Installation Instructions

Unzip the .zip file to a temporary directory. This temporary directory will now contain subdirectories called License and Install in addition to the .pdf file with the IAM6 General Information and Installation Guide documentation.

For the Toolkit:
1. Copy the .jar file that is contained in the Install/Toolkit subdirectory to the Plugins directory that is part of your WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit installation.
By default, this will be the directory: <Toolkit_RootInstallDirectory>/plugins on the Windows or Linux workstation where the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit is installed.
2. Read the documentation file to understand how to use the MbTreeBuilder User Defined Node

For the Message Broker runtime:
To install runtime files on the broker:
1. Stop the broker on which you want to install the MbTreeBuilder node runtime.
2. Create a directory that will contain the jar file used for new user-defined nodes if you do not already have one for this purpose. We will refer to that directory as “lilDirectory”
3. Add the directory to the LILPATH by using the mqsichangebroker command:
mqsichangebroker <BrokerName> -l <lilDirectory>
4. Copy the jar file “MbTreeBuilderImpl.jar” from the Install/Runtime subdirectory to the lilDirectory.
5. Copy the remaining jar files from the Install/Runtime subdirectory to the broker “shared-classes” directory. This directory is located under the broker work path directory that can be identified by using the command “mqsireportbroker <BrokerName>”.
